We had a great one, but she left private practice to be a stay at home mom. We were so excited for her, but sad at the same time for ourselves!Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00593786203491334143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2441233421581755455.post-30808093258773790592008-08-08T10:52:00.000-05:002008-08-08T10:52:00.000-05:00I did think about that Ruth but my routine stuff (...I did think about that Ruth but my routine stuff (you know being middle aged) includes referrals like mammograms and blood work (and those must come from the PCM in order to be covered). so if I chose offlist I would pay for the visit, the pap, the mammorgram, the bloodwork etc.... I think the expense could get out of hand at this stage in our lives.... I'm just going to keep looking and if I find noone, I an always fall back into the onpost clinics...Reneehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08739029410584701609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2441233421581755455.post-59681989013389980172008-08-08T10:00:00.000-05:002008-08-08T10:00:00.000-05:00This will probably gall your thrifty self--but if ...This will probably gall your thrifty self--but if you can't find someone who really suits you "on the list"; try off the list. You'll have to pay more out of pocket, but for routine stuff I think you could handle it, and keep the "on the list" doctor on the paperwork in case something seriously expensive comes up. My son's doctor isn't on the list and for all practical purposes between deductibles, co-pays, etc. we end up paying for him w/out insurance, but I've seen results with this guy and not with the one on the list (who kept us waiting for hours). Yes, my insurance that I'm paying for should pay him, but I'd rather feed my kids steak on my nickle than dirty hot dogs on thiers.RAnnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04102249990885174107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2441233421581755455.post-38859165432735112712008-08-06T21:33:00.000-05:002008-08-06T21:33:00.000-05:00((())) Praying you can find doctors for all your n...((())) Praying you can find doctors for all your needs....Carolinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12381209859944209124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2441233421581755455.post-23132036468119321092008-08-05T18:58:00.000-05:002008-08-05T18:58:00.000-05:00Michelle, My kids had a pediatrician like that in ...Michelle,
My kids had a pediatrician like that in FL - he was WONDERFUL!Reneehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08739029410584701609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2441233421581755455.post-4415108811563885892008-08-05T18:50:00.000-05:002008-08-05T18:50:00.000-05:00Praying you find a doctor who is a good match for ...Praying you find a doctor who is a good match for you and your family.

We've been blessed with our family practitioner. Shortly after Wayne's retirement physical he had his first appt. with our family doctor. He said it was the most thorough exam he'd ever had. I love our doctor---she has lots of experiences with children who have been adopted. She cares about the WHOLE patient, not just why you're at the appt.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14475526372267284324noreply@blogger.com
