I was then told that they would be back again at 3:30pm.....they still need to reinstall the actual toilet plus grout between the tiles and cleanup (oh wait, they won't do that part; I'll get the joy of sweeping/mopping). Somehow I think I'll be coming home from Rome and still needing work to be done.
They did come back at 3:30pm (just walked in the house without knocking or ringing the bell again) and were gone about 4:30. My bathroom floor is dirty and I was told not to mop it tonight so that means it will not get mopped until next week since we leave first thing tomorrow morning. In addition, we can't use the toilet tonight so Scott and I will have to stumble to the other potty if we need to go during the night.

I hope that you got your toilet reinstalled. It looks like they did a good job with the tile though. Have fun in Italy.
The workmen are supposed to be back (for the 3rd time today) in about 15 minutes. When they came back at a little after 12noon, I was out at the post office - Madeleine tells me they didn't bother knocking or ringing the bell; they just walked in.
When we lived in our apartment, that is what I hated the most. Well, ok not the most (the roaches won that one) but I did not like the idea of people walking into my home without my permission and knowledge. I hope that your bathroom is user ready soon.
remodeling is such a pain. We're just about done with our bathroom after working on it a year!
