They are the patches for the Army Space and Missile Defense Command - and our new assignment. We are SO EXCITED!!!!! We really enjoyed our time in Huntsville (97-99)and are excited to have the opportunity to return to the area and dh even gets to work for a totally different command this time.
We will be relatively close if Madeleine decides to go to college in Florida (we're legal residents of FL and she has a good shot at a 75%-100% tuition/fees scholarship) and there should be plenty of job opportunties for Scott when he retires in 2011.

Will Scott be joining COLs Creamer, Wheelock and Wiliams and LTCs Kopra and Kimbrough, or will he have more "earthbound" duties?

I am so happy to hear of your new assignment! We have visited Huntsville several times as one of dh's friends was stationed there. I think it is a lovely area of the country :)
