I just finished this book earlier this evening and WOW!!!!

The book tells the story of Rachel born in Honolulu and exiled at the tender age of seven to Kalaupapa - the quarantined leper colony on the island of Moloka'i.

It was fascinating not only for the stories of family/relationships but also for the history.

I will probably put this on BookMooch later this week (after bookclub) and I have a feeling it will go fast.....
