Mailbox Monday
Hooray! A box of books arrived from Ruth this week. I received:
Cottonwood Whispers
I've already read this one and gave it four stars on GoodReads but I was too lazy to write a review but you can read one here as well as an excerpt.
The Death of a Pope
Read a review here
Sacred Hearts
Read a reflection and review here
Rose House
A review can be read here.
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society
and a review can be read here.
In addition, I received If You Really Loved Me from the Catholic Company.
In a question and answer format, Catholic Answers apologist and author Jason Evert, discusses every aspect of chastity. He emphasizes that saying no to premarital sex is saying yes to authentic love. Using anecdotes drawn from stories he has heard in his speaking to youth and his own experience, Evert writes clearly and persuasively on the questions about dating, relationships, sexuality, and chastity that young people have asked him wherever he speaks.

Here's my Mailbox! ~ Wendi
There is nothing better that receiving a box of books. ;-) These look terrific!
Other than a box full of money :)
Love the cover of Rose House! Cottonwood Whispers is on my wish list. You got a great box of books!
Despite working a full-time job, Ruth does more reading than I do... so she keeps me very well stocked with good books..... I have a few ready to head her way soon
