Motivation
We started back to school this week and I've done a fine job of getting the kids motivated to do their daily schoolwork. I even got them moving today with the impending "Big Snow of 2010" on its way.
BUT I have not gotten myself back into a good routine. I have failed to get on the treadmill (with the excuse of the garage is too cold, which it is), it's already Thursday and I still have the next lesson plans unstarted and worse yet my new chore list from Motivated Moms has lots of unchecked blocks.
I guess the good news is that I have kept on top of grading daily work, meals have been prepared, laundry is being done (I only do mine and Scott's) the dust bunnies have not taken over yet.

It sounds to me like you're doing a great job!
I like your books--I wish I had found them first. Guess I'll add shabby blogs to my list of places to look
Thanks... I wanted something that fit with homeschooling and book reviews.....
Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!
Your last paragraph describes a week that's better than most of my good weeks! LOL!
but your weeks sound more interesting Dorothy
Anonymous, thanks?
You go girl! My checked list is unchecked because I haven't had students to look at my great lessons-lol.
I am thanking God that I finally have time to rest after the Holy Days!
What is remarkable to me is how different things look on different monitors. At home, I had to look twice at your blog to see that it was books, rather than say, fabric or something like that. Here at work (on my lunch break) they are clearly books. At home, I can't see any polka dots behind the main part of my blog; here they are visible.
