Spring Break

This year's spring break is very different from last year's trip to New Orleans. Scott was unable to get time off from work this year during spring break (same thing happened during Oct's fall break). Since we knew we were going to be stuck home anyway Abigail auditioned for Inherit the Wind and got the role of Melinda Loomis - opening night is tonight.

So what did we do this week? Well starting on Sunday night for five nights, we had rehearsals for the show. I say we because I have a role in the show as well.

We started spring break with a trip to the movies to see Alice - we rarely go to the movies (this was just me and the girls) and I even splurged and got popcorn. Monday Madeleine and I went to lunch at Lyn's Gracious Goodness and Gigi's for cupcakes. Tuesday was my grocery shopping day. Wednesday Madeleine, Abigail and I shopped at Kohls and went to Starbucks. Thursday the kids and I went to Target and then Chik-Fil-A for lunch. Today I took John and Theresa to the Gardens... it was busy busy busy but then it's spring break and it's the first pretty day we've had all week plus the treehouse exhibit just opened last Friday.
