Bailey is a large hardcover picture book with a jacket that replicates the cover in most aspects. At 30 pages, it's just the right length for a preschooler or primary grade student to enjoy.
Bailey tells the story a day in the life of a dog that goes to school. Through simple sentences and bold clear illustrations we enjoy going with Bailey from wake-up to bus to school and home again. Along the way we learn what difficulties a dog may encounter in school and the children's reactions to him.
I think that children ages 4-8 will enjoy this book especially if they love dogs.
