Signing Day
Sports have nationally televised signing day when athletes choose their school. I decided that a National Merit Finalist needed a signing day as well. So today was the day I chose. Abigail has signed her scholarship letter for the University of Memphis where she is an early admission Nursing student in the Helen Hardin Honors program.

It is a shame colleges don't make as big a deal over their academic recruits as they do their athletic ones. Though I must say, NSU did invite 30 academic "all stars" to a reception with the president and took their picture
That's pretty nice of NSU - now if only it made national news like jocks
