Christmas Letter 2013

Dear Family and Friends,
I was not organized enough this year to compose a Christmas letter in time to print and fold into individual cards so I will write one here which will reach many folks on my Christmas card list (although not all).
Madeleine graduated with honors from the honors college at the W with a BS in Elementary Education. She spent the summer working at Victoria's Secret and in August headed out west to do youth ministry with Reach. After a month of training in Helena, MT the St Francis team moved on to Yakima, WA where they ministered to youth in WA, OR and UT. She is home for three weeks and will be heading back to continue her ministry from January thru May.
James is busy with college as a junior at MS State with a major in Political Science and a minor in Public Relations. He spent the summer as well as Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks working at Victoria's Secret. He is now looking for a summer internship; if anyone has any thoughts or ideas we would appreciate the lead.
Abigail is a freshman at the University of Memphis where she is an early admissions Nursing student in the Honors program. She is a volunteer at St Jude's Children's Hospital and active in the Catholic Student Organization. She spent the summer as well as Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks as a barista at the Target Starbucks.
Theresa is a high school freshman and is thrilled that yesterday she got her learner's permit so watch out world Theresa is taking to the roads. Theresa stays busy with theater many evenings each week and enjoyed being a teaching assistant at Fantasy Playhouse Children's Theater this past semester.
John is still active in Boy Scouts and has also ventured into the world of theater. This past October he played the role of Michael Darling in Peter Pan. He also continues as an altar server and is preparing for Confirmation.
Renée was elected Treasurer of Fantasy Playhouse Children's Theater this spring and is also involved as an office volunteer, show producer and school show coordinator. She is looking to give up her duties as house manager as there is now too much on her plate.
Scott continued this year with theater playing the role of Abercrombie in Dragon of Nitt in February and Officer Brophy in Arsenic and Old Lace in November. Scott also sings in the church choir.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our family and friends!!
