Here is a picture of what my toilet looks like after two hours and two workmen.
Yes, the toilet tank is behind the tiled wall. So any simple repair requires tiles and wallboard to be removed (wonder if that part will be fixed today?) instead of just lifting the top off of the tank and playing with the flapper and chain. It's been an hour since the workmen left for brotzeit (that's morning coffee break) - wonder when they'll return?

Oh my goodness I do NOT envy you guys right now, what a mess. I do pray they get this fixed for you guys TODAY!!
So do I... dh will not be happy to not have a potty tonight. Especially after his long trek to and from Vilsek for the orthodontist. Sure hope he remembers to stop by the PX and buy jeans for James
Renee, our first encounter with the toilet-in-the-wall was in '87 when we moved back to Munich. Luckily, we had no toilet problems, but the downstairs family had their toilet fall off the wall ... while in use. That must've been a nasty shock.
LOL.. hopefully they came back to finish the job quickly. I sure hope you had another bathroom.
