The Amethyst Heart
In the book Miss Amethyst tells the story of the Noble House. It's a tale of joy and pain, hope and sorrow - and a family's legacy of sincerity, purity and nobility.
I absolutely loved this book which spans 150 years. Although it has flashbacks, I didn't find it the least bit confusing. I loved the characters, the time settings and the story itself.
I thoroughly enjoy Penelope Stoke's books. I've also read: Circle of Grace, The Amber Photograph, and THe Blue Bottle Club. I look forward to reading more of her works - I have Delta Belles and Remembering you in my book basket. Need to see if I can mooch any more of her books.

Thanks for the review, Renee. I mooched it. :)
I have Turner's Crossing in my stack of yet to be read. I also have a meditation book she wrote. You can thank the MUW Alumnae Association for introducing me to her.
