The Wishing Jar

I sit here and try to write a great literary review but I definitely wouldn't be hired by the NY Times.
The Wishing Jar is written by Penelope Stokes - one of my newly discovered favorite authors.
It's not my favorite of her books but it was a good story that was easy to read and enjoyable.
The cover says: Three women, three wishes, a haunting tale of memory, love and consuming grace. But it's not haunting in a scarey way.
