Drats... my posting got lost in cyberspace.
Day two went well. Packers arrived at 7:40am as they said they would and got right to work. While one started the inventory, the other two got the crates ready for packing. Then they boxed up the mattresses and loaded the crates. They were gone in about 5 hours and 9 crates later.
The only 'glitch" (and dh noted it on the inventory) was the condition of our furniture was made AFTER the furniture had all been wrapped the previous day. There is no way the packer's memory is that good esp since he didn't even pack the kids' bedrooms.

Isn't it funny how all furniture, regardless of age and actual condition, is suddenly rubbed, dented, scratched and marred?
Especially the sofa and loveseat on which the children are not permitted to eat or drink....
