Decorating an empty house

Well despite not having our stuff here from Germany yet we are beginning to decorate. We have ordered headboards for the teen girls, ordered a kitchen table/chairs/bench for the morning room, and ordered new mattresses for all the kids. The store had two sets in stock so we set up the girls' mattresses on the new frames.

In addition, we bought shower curtains and rugs for the boys' bathroom, the girls' bathroom and Theresa's bathroom - they've even been hung.

And sitting in the garage is a car for Scott - 2008 Ford Taurus in Ink Blue (I still say it looks like black).

Please pray our stuff arrives ASAP. The military only subsidizes 10 nights in a hotel so we have to move into the house on Thursday since $200+ a night is too much to pay on top of the mortgage.

Still praying for your shipment! It looks like you are making headway in the house and I like the look of the car.

Praying for a fast shipment!
Don't forget fabric dipped in starch makes wonderful wallpaper while you are deciding on what to do next! My dd just took home a huge amount of fabric to do just that in her place...but then she is in quarter...not a HOUSE:>)

Wallpaper?? That is beyond my talent and patience. I'll stick with the builder's paint :)
The good news is our stuff arrived yesterday (Tues); the bad news is they won't deliver it until Monday
