Another Scholarship Offer
Madeleine has been awarded the Presidential Honors Scholarships – $6,500. Ten scholarships are offered for entering first-year students with a minimum ACT composite score of 30 or equivalent SAT score. Scholarships are renewable with a minimum cumulative 3.25 GPA. Deadline: Dec 1

Fantastic. Does the scholarship last all four years? What does it take to renew it? Is there a provision for a semester off? Many students take a semester for a mission trip- and have that written into the scholarship...

It's $6500 per year as long as she maintains a 3.25 GPA. Since Madeleine has never expressed an interest in a mission trip, we have no asked about suspending scholarships for that purpose. She can always do such trips during spring break (like she did in Germnay) or the summer.
