I'm not sure how these college trips would be happening if the kids went to school. Madeleine would be missing days of school and then having to play catchup on the school and homework. The kids would have noone to see them off on the bus in the morning and noone waiting for them when they got home in the afternoon. In reality, Scott would have to take leave to be home before/after school which means we would then lose family vacation time. I'm glad to be homeschooling.
Now to get ready for tomorrow's trip to KS - must go grocery shopping (family needs food), make sure lesson plans are fully ready, be sure all know where they need to be and when the next few days, must must must remember to stop by the ATM, and I need to pack (hopefully in one suitcase to avoid double luggage fees).

You sure are traveling a lot.
This is our final campus visit... but then two weeks later is the first scholarship competition.
When I was looking at schools, I went with friends; my parents never set foot on a campus until my dad dropped me off.
I know I visited UCONN alone and since Westconn was in town that was easy.....
Of Madeleine's six schools, we only know one person from youth group that applied to a same school - and that is MJ's safety school.
And since MJ isn't able to get her license until after Christmas, we had no choice but to be her chauffeur.
