Here are the kids with one of the giant ants that are a part of the Big Bugs exhibit scattered throughout the gardens. James is not in the picture because he is spending his week at National Youth Leadership Training courtesy of Troop 350.
This bunny was so cute and little we had to take a pic of him.
And here are John, Theresa and Abigail with a snail topiary; there was one on either side of the bench.
After the gardens, we headed home for lunch and then spent the afternoon at the pool before I took Abigail to dance rehearsal for the King and I.

that's because my eldest ds was at Scout camp... unlike your son that makes funny faces, mine just rarely smiles for pics
When we went to the Denver Botanical Gardens a couple of years ago they had the traveling big bug display. I wonder if it's the same one? It definitely add a fun element to the landscape.
It probably is the same exhibit although I imagine based on each garden it's also 'different' :)
