Where Did December Go?

We were very busy with A Christmas Carol this year. I was the Co-Producer, Abigail played the roles of Martha Cratchit and a Caroler, Theresa was the Woolens Vendor and Scott was Mr. Danbury. James and Madeleine each ushered for one performance while John ushered for six of the ten (service hours for Boy Scouts is always a good thing).

We had rehearsal Tuesday and Thursday evenings plus Saturday mornings from October through Thanksgiving. Then a week of evening rehearsals followed by two weekends of performances. It's always such fun to be a part of this holiday tradition; this was the 22nd year it's been performed by Fantasy Playhouse.

Right after finishing up the show, we had our storm shelter installed. We now have a safe room underground the next time a tornado heads our way.

Then Scott and I escaped for a night to Nashville. Why? Just because we could and we needed/wanted some quiet alone time which is hard to find with five children at home for the holidays. We will enjoy a quiet Christmas and New Years at home and then January 3rd, the next show begins. I'm the Asst Producer of Many Moons, Abigail is playing the role of Princess Lenore and Theresa will be the Prop's Assistant.
