Satisfying Saturday
Today started with a breakfast date with my husband. Scott and I had an enjoyable breakfast at Cracker Barrel; glad we were there about 8am because it was very crowded when we left about an hour later. Then we stopped at Target Starbucks for coffee - I got my ever favorite seasonal Peppermint Mocha. Then we bought a treadmill. I am determined to get in shape and lose weight at the same time. I used to use a treadmill at the Y in Florida so I know it's something I like doing plus it will allow Scott to exercise when the weather is rainy.
Then I came home and got quite a bit accomplished - I balanced the checkbook, I was going to do lesson plans but realized I was caught up through 4 December, I graded a backlog of History tests and lab reports (still have to read/grade some essays), I dusted/swept the wood floors on the main level, did a load of laundry and now I"m thinking about dinner. I was going to make Chicken Enchiladas but now I"m debating since only the two little ones will be home with Scott and I - thinking about saving that meal for Tues or Wednesday esp since then Madeleine will be home to enjoy it.

I was hoping to get a lot done this weekend, but didn't.... sigh.... Glad someone accomplished something! (LOL).
I wrote a list. If I only think about what needs to be done, it's less likely to happen then if I write it down.
