Abigail's birthday although on 3 February was a rather extended affair. In some ways it began back in October when she celebrated on stage multiple times.
Because of theater schedules, we had her special birthday meal (gumbo) the weekend prior to her birthday. Then the night before her birthday we celebrated with homemade Strawberry Cheesecake and gifts.
The day after her birthday she had an engagement with Fantasy Players and afterward their beloved director Lyndy took the group out to lunch and to celebrate Abigail's birthday. The wait staff even sang.
No, it's not over yet.... the 16th celebration continued with a trip to Nashville and the Opry on Saturday.
Then to top off the weekend Abigail was part of a concert with Jason Robert Brown - a Tony award winning composer.
